Roller Coverings - OFFSET

Dampening rollers

IPAR Series

The continuous improvements in printing quality, obtained through the successful Research and Development studies, have increased the range of dampening coverings. Tecnorulli has developed specific compounds, dedicated to metering rollers and to water-form rollers, to satisfy all the printers’ requirements. The NEW IPAR coverings have now an increased chemically resistant and efficient water distribution. IPAR metering rollers allow for a very fast and easy set-up, so as to keep the roller wettability constant and uniform. The IPAR water form rollers, maintained at the right water level, by the IPAR metering rollers, guarantee the perfect and regular spread on the plate, so as to have the best colour results, using any kind of fountain solutions.
Main compounds are:
I 10: metering rollers (big and small format printing machine)
- low or zero alcohol
I 12: metering rollers (medium and big format printing machine)
- low or zero alcohol
I 25: metering rollers (high mechanical resistance)
I 30: dampening and metering rollers
I 40: dampening rollers

TEXAL Dampening

This tested system of dampening without sleeve, exclusively manufactured by Tecnorulli, makes use of two rollers. The upper roller is in TEXAL BLU i55, an excellent covering with the inclusion of synthetic-natural fibres. This roller offers perfect contact and exceptional cleaning action on the plate. The second roller is covered in TEXAL BLU i61. A parabolic crowning of 2 tenths of a millimetre is done on large format machines. Grinding is done to the theoretic diameter which would be obtained from the normal dampening roller plus the sleeve. Thanks to the special surface characteristics of affinity with water, the IPAR/TEXAL system allows the printer to eliminate or drastically reduce the use of isopropylic alcohol.
